Fantastic location near bars and restaurants. Loved the cozy common area with a warm fire and interesting chats with other travelers.

missingWrote a review on 19 Octinconvenient shower
The set-up for the shower was less than ideal, lacking screens, leading to water escaping and flooding the bathroom-a real inconvenience. The refreshment tray was quite limited, offering only Tetley tea and Nescafe, while toiletries were absent from the bathroom, which fell short of expectations at this price point.

I wasn't ready for this!
The spacious room was beautifully decorated with a huge, comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. The village is charming with riverside walks nearby. The breakfast was amazing, though the lack of evening meals on-site was a slight letdown. A good experience that was excellent!

We had a lovely family trip here, perfect for exploring the fine north east. The room was spacious and nicely kept. The food was a highlight, especially if you're into seafood. My mum really enjoyed the local dishes!
In my wife's opinion, the shower setup could be better. A more family-friendly option would help.

The Bridge Hotel in Helmsdale offers a cozy atmosphere with spacious, comfortable rooms that feel cute. I enjoyed returning to a well-decorated room after a long day exploring. The beds are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast served each morning featured a generous selection. The lack of adequate shower facilities was a letdown. The handheld shower setup was inconvenient and allowed water to flood the bathroom. Finding the dining area during breakfast was confusing, as there weren't clear signs or staff around to guide me. While the hotel has charm and character, improvements in bathroom fixtures and dining accessibility would enhance the experience significantly.

The room was spacious and had a safe for security, and the hotel's location was central with cafes, the railway station, and great fish nearby. Rewritten: the room was large and had a safety deposit box, and it was conveniently located near cafes, the train station, and fantastic seafood.
